Answers to Frequent Wine and Harvest Festival Questions

Guest coming to the wine and harvest festival may have questions about how to spend their time visiting or wonder how they can participate in some of the events that we host. So, we have collected all the most frequently asked questions here for our guests to learn everything they might need before they visit. Always the weekend after Labor Day.

Are there age requirements for the Grape Stomp?

Students need their school IDs if they are participating in the Student Stomp.  Smaller children need a parent or guardian with them, please.

I have submitted an application for the Grape Stomp. When will I be notified of our stomp time?

The Grape Stomp Committee will contact you either by telephone or email about three days prior to the stomp.

Do you have spots available for Vendors?

Food Vendors need to contact the festival office at 269-655-1111 for availability.  For Artists and Crafters, we have the Arts & Crafts Show on Saturday and Sunday.  The application is available by going to the Events and scroll to Arts & Crafts.  For all others we have Marketplace and the application connected to the Marketplace event or by contacting the festival.

How can I get my band into the festival?

Please send your information and sample of your music to the festival, at PO Box 376 Paw Paw, MI 49079.  We do have a committee that reviews all entertainers in early January.

Can I bring lawn chairs to the Amphitheater area?

Yes, but you cannot set them up in front of the Stage area.  The hill is tiered and you are welcome to sit anywhere there with blankets or chairs toward to upper portion of the hill.

How much does it cost to attend the festival?

There are cover charges at The Festival Tent (after 5pm), St. Julian Winery, Warner’s Vineyard, and Paw Paw Brewing Company.  Food and Beverage fees vary from Vendor to Vendor.  There is a fee to compete in Grape Stomp and prior registration is recommended.  There is a fee to enter a Vehicle in the Car Show, but there is no charge to view the vehicles.  There is a fee for the Artists and Crafters and Vendors to participate.  The Hole-In-One has a fee to participate.  The Carnival Midway offers bracelets for specials and tickets for immediate use.

What are the hours of the festival?

Friday all events begin at 5pm and run until midnight. On Saturday, the morning begins with the 5K Run/Walk and Car Show at 8am with most other events beginning at 10 am and running through midnight. On Sunday, the Bike Tour begins at 7am, with Church on the Lake at 10am, and most other events beginning at Noon and running through 5 pm.
