Omni Community Credit Union Festival Transportation

Enjoy Horse Drawn Wagon Rides from downtown to the Wineries and the Carnival sponsored by Omni Community Credit Union on Firday 5pm to 9pm, Saturday noon to 8pm and to get around the whole town during the festival park your car and jump aboard the Concord Trolley all weekend, for free and also sponsored by Omni Community Credit Union.

Paw Paw's Doggie Dash

Paw Paw's Doggie Dash

Join us for the first Doggie Dash in downtown Paw Paw.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to the building of the Paw Paw Village Dog Park. If your dog is a dachshund or dachshund mix they are eligible.  Other small dogs up to 25 pounds will race in their own heat.  Dogs must be on a leash (except when they are racing) and not aggressive to other doags or people.  In addition to racing visit vendors booths to buy your dog treats, toys and more.  This event is sponsored by the South Haven/Van Buren County Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Grape Lake Kayak Race

1st Annual
September 11, 2021 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Sponsored by Lounsbury Excavating.  The race will take place at the launch at Sunset Park (M/40 at Power Plant Rd.).  All participants will be timed and winners will be determined by the best time.  All participants must wear a life jacket.  A Waiver will be completed and signed must be received prior to the race.  Prizes are presented at the close of the race.  The fee to participate is $15.00 Kayaks are provided or use your own Kayak.

Children ages 13 to 17 will compete against each other and a parent or legal guardian must be present.  Adults 18 and up will compete against each other.

Weather:  If the race is cancelled on Saturday, it will be rescheduled for Sunday, Sept 12 at noon.  Should Sunday need to be cancelled, no refunds will be given.  A voucher will be given to each participant and will be good to use toward the 2022 Race.

Join us in Paw Paw for the 40th Annual Vineyard Classic Bike Tour now offered by the Kalamazoo Experiential Learning Ctr. (KELC Events).  This year, the event will benefit Bike Friendly Kalamazoo and if you would like to speak with the organizer directly call 269-388-2830 or 269-330-0202.  Choose from three different routes that pass lush vineyards and orchards, right at the peak of harvest season. On this tour, you'll see the woods, rivers, lakes, and neighboring villages of the area.

Drop by the Festival Tent, open all weekend with wine and beer tasting and entertainment of all kinds! On Saturday, from noon to 5 pm enjoy Fine Wine & Beer Tastings from local wineries and breweries. 

NEW THIS YEAR!!!  Save your Family Fare register slips and bring $100 worth to the Festival Tent, we will admitt you for free.  These slips will be given to Eleanor's Pantry.  They will turn these in to Family Fare to purchase food for the Pantry and help those who are less fortunate in the Paw Paw area.  And try your hand at RIDING THE BULL.  Yes, we will have an electronic bull in the Festival Tent on Friday and Saturday.

28th Annual Grape Escape Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

Kiwanis Turtle Derby

Take your pick and guess which turtle will win the race!  Downtown in front of Village Hall.  Jockeys pay $10 per person.  Help support the projects the Paw Paw Kiwanis Club.

Sponsored by Family Fare, this is a perfect place for kids' of all ages.  Stompyland is a FREE event that has something for children of all ages.  It is open from 10 m to 5 pm on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021  and Sunday following the parade. Stonpyland is located right next door to Amore's Pizza.  On Saturday, the Tot Big Wheel race will take place on Michigan Ave. with prizes for the kids, from 10 am to Noon.   Both days a bouncie house will be running free of charge for the kids and the dunk tank which is a fundraiser for a local organization will be ready for you to throw your best pitch.

Hole-in-One Contest

Test your driving skills and aim with our hole-in-one contest. To qualify, you must be able to get your ball to land on our “green,” a raft in the lake. Then, on Sunday, 50 participants will have one chance to get that hole-in-one at 135 yards away.  This event benefits the Paw Paw Wings of God.
