Grape Lake Kayak Race

1st Annual
September 11, 2021 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Sponsored by Lounsbury Excavating.  The race will take place at the launch at Sunset Park (M/40 at Power Plant Rd.).  All participants will be timed and winners will be determined by the best time.  All participants must wear a life jacket.  A Waiver will be completed and signed must be received prior to the race.  Prizes are presented at the close of the race.  The fee to participate is $15.00 Kayaks are provided or use your own Kayak. Catagories are: 13-17, 18-38 and 39 and up, male and female.

Children ages 13 to 17 will compete against each other and a parent or legal guardian must be present.  Adults 18 and up will compete against each other.

Weather:  If the race is cancelled on Saturday, it will be rescheduled for Sunday, Sept 12 at noon.  Should Sunday need to be cancelled, no refunds will be given.  A voucher will be given to each participant and will be good to use toward the 2022 Race.

32nd Annual Grape Lake 5k Run Walk

40th Annual Vineyard Classic Bike Tour

3 Routes: 22 miles, 39 miles and 60 miles

Join us in Paw Paw for the 40th Annual Vineyard Classic Bike Tour now offered by the Kalamazoo Experiential Learning Ctr. (KELC Events).  This year, the event will benefit College Internships for sporting events, KELC Events and if you would like to speak with the organizer directly call 269-388-2830.  Choose from three different routes that pass lush vineyards and orchards, right at the peak of harvest season. On this tour, you'll see the woods, rivers, lakes, and neighboring villages of the area. Routes are 22miles, 39 miles and 60 miles.  Helmets are required.

Try your hand at RIDING THE BULL.  Yes, we will have an electronic bull in the Festival Tent on Friday and Saturday.

43nd Annual Arts & Craft Show

Situated in the heart of the festival and sponsored by the Paw Paw Service League, the arts and crafts show will feature all handmade items including jewelry, artwork, woodwork, crocheted and knitted pieces, toys, and more. 28th Annual Grape Escape Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

During this event, you can taste from a variety of beers, wines and ciders from regional Cider Mills, Wineries and Breweries.  Participants this year include Modales Wines, Lucky Girl Brewing, and Adesanya Mead.

Kiwanis Turtle Derby

Take your pick and guess which turtle will win the race!  Downtown in front of Village Hall.  Jockeys pay $10 per person.  Help support the projects the Paw Paw Kiwanis Club.

Hole-in-One Contest

Test your driving skills and aim with our hole-in-one contest. To qualify, you must be able to get your ball to land on our “green,” a raft in the lake. Then, on Sunday, 50 participants will have one chance to get that hole-in-one at 135 yards away.
