The whole weekend of the festival is packed with events for friends and families of all ages. From the all-ages grape stomp to the wine and beer tastings to the craft show and parade, there’s certain to be something for everyone.

Paw Paw Playhouse

Prop Sale:  Friday - Sunday 10am to 6 pm purchase props and treasures

Wine & Frosting Pairing:  $10 per ticket Friday - Sunday 10 am to 6pm.  We perfectly paid best selling hours-made frostings with local wines.  Come sample a variety of flavors in our party room and help us choose a Wine & Harvest Fest Favorite Pair.  Tickets available at the door.

Free Movie:Come sing along with the classic movie "Grease" playing on screen in the theater.   Show times are every 2 hours beginning at 10 am on Friday only.

Free Karaoke:  Get your karaoke on with Big Bear Karaoke in the theatre on Saturday 8pm to 11pm.  The full bar will be open to keep the party going.

Wine & Harvest Fun Pickleball Tournament

Join us in Paw Paw for the first Wine & Harvest Fun Pickleball Tournament, on Saturday, Sept. 7th 9am to 3pm at 600 & 1027 E. Michigan, Paw Paw.  Cost is $25/$10 each extra event.  THis is a Non Sanction DOuble Elimination Tournament, for the ages listed (15+, 35+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+).  Note: Your USAPA Ratings will be used, or self-rate ourself and be fair!  Food and drinks will be provided to paid participants.  Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each event.  For more information contact Gary Schanz at Senior Services VBC - 269-655-8000 or email gschanz@ss-vbc.org.  THis event wil benefit Senior Services of Van Buren County.

Grape Lake Kayak Race

1st Annual
September 7, 2019 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Sponsored by Lounsbury Excavating.  The race will take place at the launch at Sunset Park (M/40 at Power Plant Rd.).  All participants will be timed and winners will be determined by the best time.  All participants must wear a life jacket.  A Waiver will be completed and signed must be received prior to the race.  Prizes are presented at the close of the race.  The fee to participate is $15.00 Kayaks are provided or use your own Kayak.

Children ages 13 to 17 will compete against each other and a parent or legal guardian must be present.  Adults 18 and up will compete against each other.

Weather:  If the race is cancelled on Saturday, it will be rescheduled for Sunday, Sept 8 at noon.  Should Sunday need to be cancelled, no refunds will be given.  A voucher will be given to each participant and will be good to use toward the 2020 Race.

30th Annual Grape Lake 5k Walk/Run

2018 - RESULTS:

Mark your calendars for this fast, flat USATF-certified 5k course around Maple Lake. Our race has been endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports and is also part of the 90th Annual Challenge Fitness - Michigan Fruit Belt Series.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the Families Against Narcotics.

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) is a community based program for those seeking recovery, those in recovery, family members affected by addiction and community supporters. FAN seeks to change the face of addiction, dispel the stigma of addiction, and educate the community as well as those affected by addiction. (www.Familiesagainstnarcotics.org)

38th Annual Vineyard Classic Bike Tour

3 Routes: 22 miles, 39 miles and 60 miles

Join us in Paw Paw for the 38th Annual Vineyard Classic Bike Tour now offered by the Kalamazoo Experiential Learning Ctr. (KELC Events).  This year, the event will benefit Bike Friendly Kalamazoo and if you would like to speak with the organizer directly call 269-388-2830 or 269-330-0202.  Choose from three different routes that pass lush vineyards and orchards, right at the peak of harvest season. On this tour, you'll see the woods, rivers, lakes, and neighboring villages of the area.

Drop by the Festival Tent, open all weekend with wine and beer tasting and entertainment of all kinds! On Saturday, from noon to 5 pm enjoy Fine Wine & Beer Tastings from local wineries and breweries. 

NEW THIS YEAR!!!  Save your Family Fare register slips and bring $100 worth to the Festival Tent, we will admitt you for free.  These slips will be given to Eleanor's Pantry.  They will turn these in to Family Fare to purchase food for the Pantry and help those who are less fortunate in the Paw Paw area.  And try your hand at RIDING THE BULL.  Yes, we will have an electronic bull in the Festival Tent on Friday only.

Coca Cola Grape Stomp

For thousands of years, people have used grape stomping as a means of making wine. Join in on this fun tradition and try to out-stomp the competition. We won't be making wine with the juice you press, but we will be weighing it to find a winner. Events run throughout the weekend.  New this year, you can jump in the vat and stomp grapes on your own in our open stomping.

42nd Annual Arts & Craft Show

25th Annual Grape Escape Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

Take your pick and guess which turtle will win the race!  Downtown in front of Village Hall.  Jockeys pay $10 per person.  Help support the projects the Paw Paw Kiwanis Club.

Sponsored by Family Fare, this is a perfect place for kids' of all ages.  Stompyland is a FREE event that has something for children of all ages.  It is open from 10 m to 5 pm on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019  and Sunday following the parade. Stonpyland is located right next door to Amore's Pizza.  On Saturday, the Tot Big Wheel race will take place on Michigan Ave. with prizes for the kids, from 10 am to Noon.  Enjoy magician Christian Hill on Sunday following the parade.  Both days a bouncie house will be running free of charge for the kids and the dunk tank which is a fundraiser for a local organization will be ready for you to throw your best pitch.

Hole-in-One Contest

Test your driving skills and aim with our hole-in-one contest. To qualify, you must be able to get your ball to land on our “green,” a raft in the lake. Then, on Sunday, 50 participants will have one chance to get that hole-in-one at 135 yards away.  This event benefits the Paw Paw Wings of God.
