Grape Lake Kayak Race Registration / Waiver

Warning of Risk and Waiver and Release of All Claims

In consideration of the granting my request to participate in a certain kayak race to be held on Maple Lake in Paw Paw, MI, on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023 sponsored by the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival, I do hereby waive any claim for injury to my person or damage to my property that may arise out of any injury caused through any act of commission or omission of the Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival and the Village of Paw Paw, its officers, volunteers, employees or agents. As such participant, I undertake to assume the risk of all dangerous conditions in or about the kayak race and the premises used in connection therewith, and I waive notice of the existence of any such condition at any place or at any time, As a participant, I am aware that there is still a risk of serious injury and that the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival cannot guarantee safety.

In further consideration of such permission to the participant in said race, I hereby release the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival and the Village of Paw Paw, its officers, volunteers, em-ployees, and agents from any claim which I may have any nature whatsoever on account of any injury to my person or damage to my property which may be sustained or incurred in connec-tion with, or arising out of my participation in said kayak race.
